Pick-Up/Delivery/Refund Policy
Pick-up
We offer porch pick-up that can be contactless or face-to-face. Please specify a date and a 2-hour time window for both pick-up options in the order details section. The shop owner will contact the buyer if there are any time conflicts.
Contactless pick-up: The order will be placed inside a temperature-controlled container on the front porch. The temperature-controlled container is not included in the purchase. Depending on extreme outdoor temperatures, the buyer’s vehicle climate control, and the buyer’s personal preferences, please have your own temperature-controlled container for pick-up if needed. Once the purchased products leave our possession, we are not liable for any damages to the purchased products.
Delivery
Since we follow Ohio’s cottage food production operation. we are only permitted to sell our products to Ohio residents. For this reason, we do not currently offer shipping. We offer fixed delivery options within a 20-mile radius of Powell, OH. Please refer to this PDF map (brown= 5-mile radius (free), blue= 10-mile radius ($3), green= 15-mile radius ($6), red= 20-mile radius ($9).
Delivery of purchased products will take place on a specific date and time that is decided upon the request of the buyer and approved by the shop owner. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. The buyer is required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price of goods purchased before delivery. The buyer is required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of the buyer’s goods to the wrong address or person due to the buyer providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.
If the buyer or a specified person is not available to accept the purchased goods at the pre-determined time of delivery OR specific delivery instructions were not given to the seller, then the buyer forfeits the order and will not be refunded. However, if the buyer contacts us, we can do our best to arrange a pick-up option for the buyer.

Returns and Refunds
All sales are final, and refunds or exchanges are not offered. Silky Sweets is not liable for damages once products leave our possession.
