How do I store the chocolates?

We recommend storing our chocolates at room temperature, 70°F or below, in an airtight container away from heat sources, including sunlight and heat vents.

What is the shelf life of your chocolates?

For the best taste, we recommend consuming our filled chocolates within 10 days of receiving them. If stored properly, they can last several weeks. To extend their shelf life, you can refrigerate or freeze them, but be aware that this may change their taste and texture due to humidity and temperature fluctuations. If you refrigerate or freeze them, ensure they are in an airtight container or sealed bag to reduce humidity.

What type of chocolate do you use? Is it the same as “Melting Chocolate?”

We use couverture chocolate, a high-quality chocolate that requires tempering before use because of its higher cocoa butter content. In contrast, melting chocolate usually refers to compound chocolate, which contains vegetable fats like coconut oil, soy, or palm kernel oil. This type of chocolate is generally cheaper, easier to work with, and often contains additives and artificial flavors. It technically isn’t considered real chocolate.

What kind of chocolate varieties do you offer?

We offer dark, milk, blonde, and white chocolate products. Please get in touch with us if you cannot find what you’re looking for on our shop page. We may be in the process of adding it.

I have allergies. What should I know about your process?

We make our products in a home that processes peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and sesame. As a result, we cannot guarantee cross-contamination-free products.

Where can I buy them?

We currently only sell our made-to-order products online. When we sign up for events or work with retail partners, we will update the site with all the details.

I live outside of Ohio. Can I still buy?

We operate under Ohio’s cottage food production operation. Ohio law prohibits out-of-state sales of Ohio cottage food products. Essentially, we can only sell our products within Ohio. There are no restrictions on sales made within Ohio, so if you are out of state and visiting the area, you can buy from us.

How do I become a retailer?

If you are interested in stocking our chocolates at your store, cafe, restaurant, or any other space, please email [email protected] or use our contact form. We would love to discuss the details with you.

How can I pay?

Stripe (Credit Card, Google Pay, Klarna) and Paypal are our payment processors. We do not accept checks. If cash is your preferred payment method, please contact us at [email protected] or our contact form.

Do you ship? 

We do not currently offer shipping. We may offer shipping in the future within Ohio, so please check back for updates.

Do you offer delivery?

We offer delivery options within 20 miles of Powell, OH. See pick-up/delivery/refund policy for more info.

How long before I get my order?

With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our schedules can get quite busy. Therefore, we kindly ask that you allow at least 48 hours for your order to be completed, as everything is made made-to-order. If you need your order sooner than 48 hours, please reach out to us at [email protected] or use our contact form for assistance.

Likewise, we will notify you if your order is ready before your pick-up window or delivery date (if you requested this).

What is your return policy?

All of our products are made-to-order, perishable items. As a result, our chocolates are non-returnable and non-refundable, as stated in our pick-up/delivery/refund policy. However, we value the satisfaction of every customer; if you are not happy with your order, please get in touch with us so we can help.
